8 Automobiles ~ MOMA exhibition  Promoted as the "first exhibition anywhere of automobiles selected for design".  The show was curated by Philip C. Johnson, the world renowned architect., for the Museum of Modern Art, NYC.  Cars included: 1936 Mercedes SS, 1948 Cisitalia, 1929 Bentley [on the poster], 1929 Talbot "tear drop", 1951 Jeep, 1937 Cord, 1948 MG TC, and 1941 Lincoln Continental.  As their catalogue stated: an exhibition concerned with the esthetics of motorcar design.  The only example I have ever seen.  25.5" x 10", LM  6.26
